SONIC BUTTERFLY MIGRATION TOUR
A Transformative event designed to inspire community action and raise awareness about the endangered monarch butterfly and other pollinators.
The Sonic Butterfly Migration Tour is an exciting initiative designed to follow the migratory paths of the Monarch butterflythroughout the US into Canada and Mexico, serving as both a celebration and a call to action. Together, we will create a family friendly day festival that will:
• Inspire Individual and Community Action: Educate communities where Monarch butterflies migrate on the challenges that they are facing and how every individual can be a part of the solution.
• Engage Local Partners: Work together with local environmental organizations, nurseries, regenerativefarmers, and gardeners to learn how to build pollinator gardens at home and in public spaces to provide Monarch butterflies and all pollinators with the healthy habitats they need where they need them to thrive.
• A Family Friendly Festival: Food trucks, face painting, butterfly mural, local artists, musicians, and vendors all work together to create a day of fun, food, and transformative action.
• Award-Winning Films: Inspiring and educational documentary films including Common Ground and Kiss the Ground presented by the Tour’s sponsor, Big Picture Ranch.
• A Sensational Finale: Internationally acclaimed Sonic Butterfly, a long-string harp with strings over 60 feet long that transforms theaters, architecture, and natural spaces into immersive musical instruments, takes the stage to inspire audiences of all ages and backgrounds to release limiting beliefs and be the change they want in the world.
